NSW Government Start Strong Preschool Funding

Preschool fee relief in long day care is part of the NSW government’s Start Strong initiative to increase access to preschool for children aged 3-5 by making it more affordable.

This year Start Strong has introduced $500 per child of fee relief for children aged 3 attending eligible preschool programs in long day care. This builds on existing fee relief of up to $2100 per child aged 4 or 5 in the year before primary school.

This discount is applied in addition to your CCS to further reduce your out of pocket expenses.

Fee Relief for Eligible Preschool Children

If your child is aged 3-5 they may be eligible for a weekly discount from the NSW government in addition to your Child Care Subsidy. Check out our School Readiness Program to find out more about what we offer for this age group.
